STUDIO MEMBERS
The percussion studio is comprised of Music majors and minors in the percussion program at UW-Eau Claire. Admission to the studio is based on auditions which are held multiple times annually. Individually, all members of the studio study privately with Dr. Jeff Crowell. Together the studio participates in the concert, jazz, orchestra, marching, and camber ensembles at UWEC. In addition, the studio hosts regular masterclasses and guest artists with notable percussion performers and educators of many genres.

Nick graduated from Hastings High School in Hastings, MN in 2012. Nick is the Director of the Blugold Athletic Band which performs at all home men's and women's basketball games. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha: Sinfonia Fraternity and participates in numerous ensembles on and off campus; including a performance at the 2014 Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Indianapolis.

Alli Wilmes graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 2012, and is studying Music Education in hopes of becoming a middle school or high school band director. At UWEC, Alli is a member of many ensembles. She also teaches the front ensemble at Menomonie high school. She is playing vibraphone this summer for the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.

Chris graduated from Farmington high school in Farmington, MN in 2013. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha: Sinfonia fraternity and participates in numerous ensembles on and off campus. Chris hascompeted in the WGI world championships as a member of MN Brass indoor and participates in DCI over the summer.

Dylan graduated from Colchester High School in Colchester, VT in 2012. While in Vermont he played in The Green Mountain Brass Band, Colchester Community Band, and various ensembles within the school and community. He also taught percussion in the elementary school while giving private lessons. Upon attending the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire he has participated in multiple ensembles within the university while assisting at Northstar Middle School and playing in pit ensembles for surrounding high schools.

Marc graduated from Woodbury High School in 2014 and has performed in various ensembles including Minnesota Brass Indoor Drumline for 2014 and 2015 and currently helps teach the Menominee High School Drumline.

Erik graduated from Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau high school in Galesville, WI in 2014. He is a member of the UW-Eau Claire Track and Field team on campus and is looking to join other music related groups as well. His favorite percussion instrument is the drum set.
